Hyasynth is a conceptual installation for IADT, as a comment on the campus' sterile interiors in the Digital Media Building.

The goal of this project was to create an installation and accompanying Visual Identity that advocated for healthy design practices among students.

Using flowers encased in glass boxes, like terrariums, to highlight the contrast between the natural and unnatural as a metaphor for the fact that only creative students were the ones moved into this new environment.

The installation itself proposes a green space in the building where the materials used are softer, and more welcoming compared to the cold concrete of the rest of the interior. Weekly design-for-good workshops could be held in this space and student voices could be given a chance to be heard.

Hyasynths' Visual Identity balances those two opposing forces through its serif typeface, ASCII-styled footage of flowers and plants and pastel colour-scheme.
